Multiple Teams · Girl’s Wrestling State Champs!

Sam Houston Women’s Wrestling program prides itself on being strong academically and athletically.  To date, all seniors that have lettered in wrestling by their senior year have been offered wrestling scholarships to wrestle in college.  Many wrestlers have also been offered academic scholarships to go to college.  Our team goal is to put academics first and to win championships as individuals.  Each wrestler of the Sam Houston Women’s Wrestling team is a champion in the classroom and strives to be a champion on the mat.  The Sam Houston Women’s Wrestling team is made up of hearts of champions.  The focus of our team is not on the coach, but instead on the outstanding ladies that will soon be the next State Wrestling Champions as individuals and be able to wrestle any obstacle that stands in their way to get their college diploma.  Go Big Sam Houston Women’s Wrestling!
